How the gift works
Send a normal request on this site: choose the car and the number of days, then reply to our email with "gift" and the name of the person it is for. Leave the dates open or pick any placeholder. We reply by email with the price, and once the gift is confirmed we email you a printable PDF gift voucher with the car, the number of days and a short personal message if you want one. The recipient then contacts us and chooses the dates within 12 months, subject to availability. It is a convertible driving gift in Barcelona that works for a birthday, an anniversary or a retirement.
Which car to give
The Ford Mustang GT Convertible (from €179/day) is the most requested gift: a 5.0 V8 with four seats, so the recipient can take a partner and friends. The Porsche 911 Cabriolet (from €349/day) is for someone who has always wanted to drive one. The Mazda MX-5 (from €89/day) is a pure two-seater roadster with a manual gearbox, and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet (from €129/day) suits a calm coastal day. Prices are per day for 1–2 days, with basic insurance and 300 km per day included; 3–6 days are 10% cheaper.
Check the driver requirements first
The voucher is for the person who will drive, so make sure they meet the requirements before you buy. For the Mustang and the Porsche 911 the driver must be at least 25; for the other cars, at least 23. Everyone needs a driving licence held for two years or more and a credit card in their own name for the refundable deposit. If the recipient is younger, choose a different car or add yourself as the driver; a second driver is free.
Ideas for the day
A voucher is more fun with a plan. Suggest the coast road to Sitges through the Garraf cliffs, a day on the Costa Brava with the bends between Tossa de Mar and Sant Feliu de Guíxols, or a sunset stop at Montjuïc. Delivery to a hotel or address in central Barcelona is free, so the recipient does not need to visit a rental desk. From El Prat airport we meet them at arrivals for €30.

Can I give a Mustang to someone under 25?
No. The Mustang and the Porsche 911 require a driver aged 25 or over; the other convertibles require 23 or over, and a licence held for two years.
Do I have to choose the dates now?
No. Send the request with any dates and write "gift" in the message; the recipient sets the real dates later.
How do I receive the voucher?
